The Gossip: Is Lorde about to release new music?

The Royals singer has teased fans with the suggestion that new music is on the way.

She has been dropping hints for a few months that a second album is almost ready but she has now uploaded a short video suggesting it could drop by the end of this week.

The cryptic clip shows her eating food in the back of a car with music playing in the background.

A caption reading “3.2.17 NYC, 3.3.17 NZ” appears on the screen.

So it looks like we could be getting something from the singer on March 2 in the US and the following day in New Zealand (where the singer hails from) - in theory the same time if you take into account the different time-zones.

Lorde followed the video up with a simple question to fans: “u hungry?”

Is Scarlett Moffatt about to takeover prime-time TV?

It looks like TV bosses are fighting over Jungle Queen Scarlett Moffatt following her successful debut on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway at the weekend.

Her slot helped the ITV show to record viewing figures on Saturday night - its best ratings in 12 years.

Now it seems Channel 4 want a bigger piece of the Moffatt action. It's being reported that she has been hand-picked to front a new Friday night show called The Comedy Project.

It's apparently filmed in front of a live audience at Pinewood studios and she's set to appear in a number of sketches alongside comedians and impressionists.

There are rumours a secret pilot episode has already been filmed.

Channel 4 will want to make sure they can keep hold of one of their homegrown stars after her appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway went down a storm with viewers.

The 26-year-old made her name on the channel's Gogglebox and they've already hired her for the relaunch of dating show Streetmate.

Will Black Mask be the main villain in the new Harley Quinn movie?

Director David Ayer may just have revealed who the main villain of Gotham City Sirens is.

The film is the Harley Quinn spinoff from Suicide Squad which was announced late last year.

David Ayer just tweeted a picture of the Black Mask - a crime boss who made his debut in DC comics in 1985.

Although this is by no means a confirmation that he is definitely the main villain, Ayer did do something similar with the Joker in the run up to Suicide Squad. A part that went on to be played by Jared Leto in the film.

Black Mask is a character with an obsession with collecting different masks. In recent DC comics he has had a rivalry with Catwoman.

Catwoman has already been confirmed as one of the main characters in Gotham City Sirens, partnering up with Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy. All adding to speculation that Black Mask will appear in the new film.
