The Gossip: Will Queen Bey star in the new Lion King?

If Hollywood bosses get their way, she will.

Jon Favreau, the director of the Disney’s live-action reboot, apparently wants Beyonce to voice Nala. And who wouldn't?

The soundtrack to the 1994 original shifted over 14 million copies.

Though you'd imagine with the Formation star on board, the studio could flog a few more.

Beyonce hasn't made a call on it yet, which probably has something to do with the facts she's pregnant with twins.

But since it’s a voice-acting role, sources say the studio will do whatever it takes to accommodate her schedule.

If the singer was to sign up, she'd join an already stellar cast.

Donald Glover has been brought in to play Simba.

And James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Mufasa.

It would mark Beyonce’s first film role since she voiced Queen Tara in the animated film Epic.

She's also been in 2009 thriller Obsessed, the musical Dreamgirls, and Austin Powers In Goldmember.

Let's be honest, Victoria Beckham's hotly anticipated turn on Carpool Karaoke was a bit of a letdown.

It wasn't much of a surprise that we didn't really hear Posh sing, but she's still managed to upset one of her old bandmates.

Mel B is reportedly unhappy VB chose to 'perform' the girlband’s hits on The Late Late Show, instead of her own material.

Posh pulled out of a Spice Girls reunion last year, deciding it wasn't for her.

Although she didn't seem that keen on the rest of the group performing songs from the band's past either.

"I think they should sing their own material though, because what we did in the Spice Girls was so special," she said.

"If they sang Spice Girls songs I think I might be a bit sad.”

When Posh pulled out of the reunion, Mel C followed suit and plans for a huge worldwide tour began to crumble.

Are The Saturdays' days over for good?

It looks that way.

The girls have been on a four-year break for some of them to have babies, but they've always insisted they'd reunite.

Until now.

Vanessa White says she's not going back, claiming she's 'mentally' finished with the group.

"I don't think I could go back," said the 27 year-old.

"I've got so much that I want to do. There's no space mentally for me to go back.

"As time goes on, I know it just wouldn't feel right for me. This feel natural."
