Go Hard or Go Home cast: Meet the Trainees

Meet the eight contestants who will be pushing their bodies to the absolute limit on BBC Three’s Go Hard or Go Home.

Samuel Spencer

This February, eight trainees will be put through the challenge of a lifetime on BBC Three’s new reality show.

On Go Hard or Go Home, contestants are young people who are stuck in a rut in their lives and want to make huge changes. They want to break through issues or challenges that have held them back in life - be it mental health issues, bereavement, body confidence or life-threatening illness - and they're doing this through fitness, in what will be a truly gruelling 28 days of epic physical and mental challenges. Can they beat their past to unleash their "inner warrior"?

On the BBC Three show, hosted by Jordan North, they will get to do just that. The show sees them head to a Caribbean island where eight elite athletes known as The Warriors will mentor them and compete alongside them in a series of gruelling physical challenges.

The Warriors were announced in January, and include hardcore fitness heroes like ex-footballer Ashley Cain, MMA fighter Leah McCourt and Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson. Overseeing the contestants' training as Head Coach, meanwhile, is fitness influencer Paul Olima, who also hosts Go Hard or Go Home's spin-off podcast Be More Warrior.

Now, it’s time to meet the Go Hard or Go Home trainees who will be finding out who is worthy of being a Warrior when the show comes to BBC Three and BBC iPlayer on Sunday 19 February.
