I'm a drag queen who wants to bring Gay Pride to Grimsby
Kieran is 18 and lives in Grimsby. He performs as a drag queen named Dixie Normous, an "eight foot tall, beautiful, large-and-in-charge glamazon". Dixie, Kieran says, is "everything he wants to be and more". But he admits that it can be hard to be a drag queen in his home town, mainly because Grimsby hasn't had much up-close exposure to LGBTQ life. With the support of his grandparents, as well as the help of his friend Corey, Kieran is in discussions with the council to bring a Pride festival to Grimsby.
