Quiz: The classic kids adventure movies behind Stranger Things
It's the 1980s-set horror-drama that turned the world Upside Down when it was released last summer - and this weekend Stranger Things fans will get their long-awaited sequel with a new nine-episode season.
The first series arrived on Netflix out of nowhere in July 2016, and quickly grew into a word-of-mouth cultural phenomenon.
So to say that expectations are high for series two is an understatement. Early indications are that it (mostly) delivers.
Producers are playing their cards close to their chests when it comes to plot details, but we know that it is set in 1984, so we can expect even more references and homages to 1980s cinema and pop culture.

The show's writer-creators, the Duffer Brothers, have made no secret of their love of - and influences from - 1980s pop culture, from movies like Stand By Me, The Goonies, and ET: The Extra-Terrestrial, to the Dungeons & Dragons game, and the books of Stephen King (the show's title design is a direct homage to the dominant font used on King's book covers in the 1980s).
Even some of the poster art for the new season deliberately plays on the style of '80s movies.
With all that in mind, what better time to test your knowledge of those kids-focused '80s adventure movies that are so embedded in the show's DNA?
