The super hard TV theme tune quiz

Whether you remember the programme or not, you probably know the theme tune off by heart.

Baywatch appeared on our screens from 1989 to 2001 and while we can't really remember specific storylines, we do remember the anthem.

Oh, those urgent lyrics. They were great. Survivor's Jimi Jamison was the man responsible for them and, as he convinced us that the lifeguards would 'be there' for us, we'd see the cast in red bathers slow-mo their way across our screens.

It is simply a classic theme song.

Unfortunately the same word can't be used to describe the film adaptation.

The Baywatch movie, starring Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock, is out this week - and the reviews are not kind to the film.

The Guardian has given it 1/5 stars with the title of their review coming with the cutting but wonderful pun 'alpha-male chest-off is not worth the Hasselhoff'.

A.V. Club explains why it doesn't succeed on the big screen. "Ultimately, Baywatch can never make up its mind whether it wants to mock glitzy softcore action-fests or just be one."

Torn as to whether you want to see it or not? Well while you're making your mind up, attempt our super-hard TV theme tune quiz and remember some other classic anthems.
